Amber malt is a more toasted version of pale malt, whereby green malt is roasted at temperatures of 150–160°C.
Compass Rose Amber malt brings a dry, light biscuit flavour with subtle hints of coffee. It's a versatile roasted malt that can shift the direction of your beer with its use.
Produced at our malting facility in Knapton, North Yorkshire.
